Do you want to start now?

Step 1

Sign up for Project Zero

When you meet all the eligibility requirements for the program, you can begin registration by clicking Get Started on the Project Zero page. You will be asked to complete a 10-minute training session.

Step 2

Find and remove fakes

Go to the self-service counterfeit removal tool by clicking Protection and then Project Zero in the Brand Registry main menu. You will have access to the tool for each store corresponding to the country where your brand has an active registered trademark associated with your Brand Registry account.

If you find a potentially fake product, we recommend that you purchase it for a test to confirm the actual violation of rights. Once you are sure, you can return to the tool to remove individual offers or the entire product from the site.

Step 3

Track removed listings

You can check the status of the removed fake at any time by clicking the monitoring option and then Report Summary in the Brand Registry main menu.

Note: When you remove a fake from an Amazon store, a complaint notice is sent to each seller associated with the violation.

How much does it cost to participate in Project Zero?
Once you meet all the eligibility requirements, you can enroll in the program and use the self-service counterfeit removal tool for free. Also, automatic security is provided to registered brands free of charge.
What types of infringing offers can I remove from the Amazon store?
Project Zero's self-service counterfeit removal tool should only be used to remove counterfeit product listings.

A counterfeit is an unlawful reproduction, in whole or in part, of a registered trade mark – or a mark very similar to a registered trade mark – in connection with the sale of a product. Counterfeiting a product requires the use of a registered trademark on the product, packaging or product page to suggest its originality to buyers.
How does Amazon make sure brands using Project Zero's self-service counterfeit removal tool make the right decisions?
When brands use a self-service tool to remove counterfeit products, there is a huge responsibility on them. Therefore, in order to maintain access to Project Zero, they must maintain the relevance of submissions at least 99%. We have implemented numerous processes for the highest possible accuracy of applications, such as mandatory training when registering for Project Zero and continuous monitoring for misuse of the tool.
If I achieve a 90% approval rating, why am I still not eligible for Project Zero?
In order to ensure that participants use Project Zero responsibly, we not only check the approval rate for fake applications, but also apply other criteria to qualify applicants. If you do not currently meet these conditions, continue to use the Report Violation tool. When you qualify for the program, we will automatically send you an invitation to register.
